About Me

David is an independent electronics builder whose work blends power electronics, fabrication, and reverse engineering into a single, highly capable micro‑factory workflow. His background is not theoretical — it’s lifelong. From early childhood, he gravitated toward functional construction: improvised flashlights, salvaged components, and small electrical assemblies built from whatever materials were available. What began as a $20 budget at RadioShack has evolved into a fully equipped workspace that can produce custom PCBs, repair complex hardware, and develop advanced power‑focused products.

Reverse engineering is one of David’s strongest skills. He can trace power architecture, control logic, and signal flow even on multi‑layer boards without schematics. This ability lets him repair devices, salvage components, and understand undocumented hardware with a level of clarity most technicians and engineers never reach. His familiarity with power distribution, converters, drivers, and embedded power stages underpins his product direction.

David’s workspace reflects his mindset: organized, intentional, and built for capability. He maintains a structured inventory of components — capacitors, resistors, LEDs, potentiometers, connectors, and wiring. This environment lets him prototype or repair almost anything on demand.

Looking ahead, David focuses on product development. While he can do repair work, his long‑term direction is creating advanced electronics: power modules, distribution systems, converters, and tools that enable other builders. His goal is to operate a shop that produces original, high‑capability devices — the kind of products that come from a deep understanding of both fabrication and power architecture.

David builds because he enjoys the process. His portfolio reflects not just projects, but a lifetime of development in electronics, systems design, and hands‑on engineering.

Current Projects

Create the next best thing.

Mass Production Niche Prototype — Gadget

The goal is to build on the subprojects and turn them into a niche product that can then be mass-produced in fair quantities and sold to the market. The market audience is currently set for day-to-day life or the average consumer.
Status: In progress.

Robotics & AI — Animatronic

Objectively find a way to make a living robot or animatronic. Create a talking, moving robot. It could be big or small, have hands, or have wheels. Not exactly sure where this goal is yet.
Status: Paused

Rapid prototyping — 3D Printer & Laser Cutting

Achieve the fastest production possible with the least purchasing resistance and the most sustainability. Gather the basic components needed to support builds.
Status: Completed.
