The Day My Desk Debugged Itself

My desk has been wobbling for days. I thought the frame was loosening, so I slipped quarters under one leg to balance it. They kept falling out, and eventually I gave up and accepted the wobble as part of life.

Today I accidentally kicked the corner of the desk. A missing M5 screw — one I lost weeks ago — launched itself into the air like it had been waiting for the right moment. The desk immediately stopped wobbling.

Turns out the screw wasn’t missing. It was wedged under the leg, lifting the desk just enough to cause chaos. I wasn’t dealing with misalignment. I was dealing with a rogue fastener acting like a tiny fulcrum.

I guess the universe returned my spare M5 screw. And my desk finally decided to behave.

[Update 008] I’m back!

  1. It’s been such a long time since I posted anything. Hopefully I get back to what I usually do here.
  2. I had a lot has happened since my last post, and I will see if I can update what I’ve been up too.
  3. Oh yeah! It’s also my first post of the year! Haha. I’m having hope this year will be better then the last! 😀
  4. I’m aware a lot of links on this this site are broken, and I’ll try my best to fix them.
